- Après-Ski & Nightlife
Obertauern is famous, not just for skiing on the "Tauernrunde", but also for its exciting "hut culture". The occasional refreshment stop at one of the local "watering holes" is a must. Since this can often last late into the night, please take your room keys with you in the evening, since the hotel doors are locked for security purposes after 8 p.m.
- Automobile Repair
Repair shops for various automobile manufacturers are located in Mauterndorf and Radstadt. Please ask at the reception and we will recommend the people who best meet your needs.
- Bathrobes
can be borrowed during your stay for an additional charge
- Banks and ATMs
Branches of the Raiffeisenbank are located in town, with the nearest ATMs at the main Skiworld store or at the Freudenhaus
- Beauty
Let yourself relax completely at our nearby beauty salons: "Schönheitsfarm Elysium", "Salon Struwelgitte" and "Haarscharf bei Martina"
- Bar
Open daily until 9 p.m.
- Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast with us between 8:00 and 10 a.m.
- Café
Whether at our own Turmstub’n Café or in the neighborhood, Austria's world-famous pastries are just waiting for you to enjoy
- Cancellation
For guaranteed reservations, in the event of delayed arrival or premature departure we do charge the full room price.
In addition, your reservations will be handled in accordance with "General Terms & Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry

Please plan to arrive between 1 and 8 p.m. Check-out is by 10 a.m.
- Children
The youngsters are also more than welcome here. For pricing information, please consult our price list.

The nearest cinemas are located in St. Johann or in Salzburg

There are actual no restrictions in the hotel!
- Credit Cards
You are welcome to pay in cash, with your EC-/bank card, or by VISA or MasterCard.

If you have urgent business matters to take care of, we are glad to help. Please stop by the reception if you need to make copies, print something off or send a fax
- Dinner
In our restaurant we offer small snacks including sandwiches, pizza, toast, soups. Numerous restaurants are located close by. We would be happy to take care of reservations for you - simply let the reception know what you need
- Doctor & Pharmacy
Dr. Aufmesser is located at the Passhöhe (Tel.: 0043 6456 7298)
- Drinks
can be bought at our bar. Food and drinks which you have brought with you are only permitted in your hotel room.
- Dogs
are welcome by arrangement only with registration and for a fee of EUR 25,- per day (without dog food) plus EUR 35,- final cleaning.

You are welcome to book a parking space in our underground garage for an additional Euro 15 per day. Please be aware, that the clearance height is 2,1m.

Please settle your hotel bill by 5:30 p.m. of the day prior to departure. This will save you long waits on the day you leave.

are available at the Plattenkarbahn or the Gamsleiten valley station.

- Messages and Post
Incoming post will be left for you at the reception desk, while messages will be given to you in person.
- Night service
For ringing the door bell or for the need of a new room key card, we charge EUR 50,-!

- Parking
We have free parking for one vehicle per room in front of our hotel - for every extra vehicle, we charge EUR 40,-. On the day of departure, the parking lot must be left upon check-out (at 10:00 a.m.).
- Post Office
A post-office partner is located at the Obertauern Tourist Office. However, if you have added the correct postage to your letters or post cards, we will be happy to deliver them to the post office for you.
- Postcards
and stamps are available in town. If you have already added the correct postage, please feel free to drop off your letters or postcards at the reception desk - we will then take them to the post office for you.
- Petrol Station
The nearest petrol stations are in Radstadt (ca. 20 km) and Tweng (ca. 8km)
- Room Keys
Upon departure, please leave your room keys at the reception! In the event of loss, we will be obliged to charge Euro 40.
- Ski School
In-house ski school - simply ask for details at the reception.
- Ski Rentals
Further information as well as coupons are available at the reception.
- Smoking
All our rooms are non-smoking. If you have booked a comfort room with a balcony, you will find an ashtray on your balcony. For smoky rooms or negligent activation of the fire alarm system we charge € 150, -.
- Snow Conditions
Obertauern, the place snow calls "home"! A sense of responsibility and respect for nature are vital for uninterrupted skiing enjoyment. Please check out the latest weather conditions locally, and always avoid riding on unsecured pistes. Appropriate winter equipment and possibly snow chains are needed for cars between November and April.
- Ski Cellar
An access code is required.
Stands for skis as well as boot dryers are available.

- Transfers
If you arrive by bus, train or air, we recommend booking a relaxing transfer.
- Towels
We also do our best to be as kind as possible on the environment. That includes avoiding unnecessary laundry whenever possible. You decide for yourself: towels left in the shower/bathtub or on the floor mean "please change", while towels left on the towel rail mean "I would like to use them one more time." Sauna towels can be found in the wellness area.
- Weather
We always post the latest weather forecast at the hotel.
- Wellness Area
Our wellness area is located right next to the reception, and is open for you to enjoy free of charge between 3 and 8 p.m. This area is a designated quiet & relaxation zone!
- Worship Services
Sundays and national holidays at 5 p.m.
