Mouth and nose protection is mandatory (FFP2 masks).

Our restaurant is in normal operation, so you can enjoy your meals comfortably at lunchtime and in the evening. We ask for your reservation!

During lunch and dinner times you have to provide your data per table for a potential contact tracing.

Drinks are currently not served at the bar.

Access to the sauna and steam bath is restricted to prevent people who do not belong together.

SKI AREA information

Since you are already on the mountain, you no longer have to wait with other visitors to be able to go up the mountain.

You can walk directly from the hotel to the slopes.

They have 10 entry points and 26 lifts distributed over the entire region and thus guarantee a relaxed lift ride.

Obertauern offers skiing pleasure with almost no gondola lifts, but almost exclusively with open-air chair lifts.

For lifts, the wearing of FFP2 masks in closed areas is mandatory and in general the 2G rules are obliged. 2G rules are checked with purchasing of tickets!

A valid 2-G certifcate and the additional PCR testing (2G+) for entries from all countries enables travel to be maintained.

- 2G+ (vaccinated or recovered and PCR-tested) when entering from all countries

- Booster vaccination (3rd vaccination) exempts from PCR test

Persons with 2G detection but without a PCR test or booster vaccination must register and adhere to home quarantine until a negative PCR test result is presented.

No proof is required for children up to the age of 12. However, they must be registered together with their companions and go into quarantine if this also applies to the adult companions.

If registration is required before entering Austria, this must be carried out electronically no earlier than 72 hours prior to entry (Pre-Travel-Clearance - PTC). Here you can find the PTC registration form in German and English. The registration confirmation must be presented electronically or printed out during an inspection.

As of 24.12.2021, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway are considered virus variant areas.

Austrian citizens and EU citizens are still entitled to enter the country, but must register, present a PCR test upon arrival and go into a ten-day quarantine.

Anyone who has already received a booster vaccination (3rd vaccination) can avoid the quarantine with a PCR test.

Due to any eventuality, we recommend a travel cancellation insurance.
